On financial market of long-term securities are also present bonds of Ministry of Finance Republic of Montenegro issued in purpose of settling liabilities for old foreign exchange savings, whose trade started in 2004.

Purchase of bonds provide you with possibility of not only earning interest on invested capital, but to join purchase of properties in possession of Republic of Montenegro, as well as enterprises in possession of governmental funds. Namely, the Government of Montenegro has legally created the possibility of acceptance old foreign exchange savings as payment means while selling properties in possession of state. The most important thing in such transactions is that the state acknowledges bonds by their nominal value. It is due to these conveniences in securities trading on Montenegrin stock exchanges, that the most attractive series were the cheapest ones, i.e. the series with the longest maturity terms. Both, physical and legal entities can pay tax liabilities with bonds.

Bond values are determined on stock exchange in accordance with rate between offer and demand, while their nominal value is determined by editor and it is 1 EUR.
